Al-Aqsa Community Clinic

A free clinic fully staffed by volunteers, Al-Aqsa has served over 2,889 patients since first opening in 2009. They aim to provide the Triad with the best source, high-quality health care services. Al Aqsa Clinic is continuously looking for volunteers, especially health professionals.

DYOR Clinic
UNC's Adams School of Dentistry

In honor of Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha and Razan Abu-Salha, the DYOR clinic provides free oral health care to refugees and those displaced to North Carolina, as well as local underserved adults. Nine clinics are held each year necessitating volunteers, student dentists, and practicing professionals alike.

Zakat Foundation of America
Location: varies
Whether it be providing disaster relief, building schools and health clinics, or distributing food, the Zakat Foundation of America distributes Zakat and Sadaqah payments to underserved and in-need communities. Refugee empowerment, orphan care, and emergency relief are some of the categories of assistance provided.
